One of our clients in Bangalore is looking for Application Security Consultants. This is an urgent opening hence a quick response would be highly appreciated. Please find complete details about the job below:
Job Description (Application Security Consultant):
* The position requires the candidate to perform ethical hacking on applications, perform application design level security assessments and code level reviews to identify security loopholes.
* The candidate must have fair knowledge of application security concepts, application security best practices and practical application auditing experience.
* The candidate must have a sound knowledge of application architectures like Client/server application, 3 tire & n tier architecture.
* Preferably having Application development experience in atleast one Web Technology like .NET, JAVA, PHP, etc. Should have Fair knowledge of Web servers like Apache, IIS. Exposure to application design is an added advantage.
* Any candidate having good application Development/Testing experience and having keen interest in information security will also be considered.
* Most importantly the prospective candidates must have a strong interest in information security, ethical hacking and performing risk assessments.
* Good communication skills and excellent analytical skills are a pre-requisite
* Excellent written and oral communication skills are required as writing assessment reports is an important aspect of this job profile. Giving presentation of findings to management or development groups may also be required. Interaction with development groups will be required to resolve application security issues.
Experience: 0.5 to 3 years
Salary: Commensurate with market standards
Educational Qualifications: BTech, BE, MCA, MSc, BSc
